K&H: “everyday” costs HUF 60,000 more per month
There is still hardly anyone who does not spend more on living than a year earlier, according to the second-quarter K&H secure future survey, which examined changes in the expenses of 30-59-year-olds.
91 percent of respondents spend an average of HUF 60,000 more per month, which is essentially the same as the 92 percent rate measured in the first quarter and HUF 64,000 extra spending. However, there is a significant proportion of those who can only finance their lives with additional expenses of HUF 100-149 thousand. So, although inflation slowed to a minimal extent in the second quarter, people in their thirties, forties and fifties didn’t really feel it.
You still have to spend a lot more on everyday things. 91 percent of those in the 30-59 age group spent more on their livelihood in the second quarter than a year earlier, according to the latest data from the K&H Commissar Future survey. In the first quarter, 92 percent of them talked about higher expenses than a year earlier, that is, essentially they remained the same.
