K&H: That’s how many people can expect a bonus this year
This year, three-quarters of large domestic companies plan to provide their employees with cafeteria benefits. In addition to the legally prescribed travel expense reimbursement, the SZÉP card is the most popular, according to the results of the K&H large company growth index at the end of last year. More than a quarter of the companies plan to pay their employees the 13th monthly bonus that is typical at this time.
The cafeteria, i.e. wage-like payments that supplement the salary, are a defining part of the employee benefits provided by companies.
“According to the fourth quarter results of the K&H large company growth index, this year 74 percent of companies are incorporating one or more elements into their wage practices. Based on our survey indicating the expectations and plans for the next year of Hungarian companies with an annual turnover of over two billion forints, 52 percent of companies will provide employees with the legally required travel reimbursement this year. Among the voluntary non-salary benefits, the SZÉP card is still at the top – 40 percent of companies plan to use it”
Gábor Rajna, head of the K&H Corporate Division, presented the latest research results.
