K&H: domestic enterprises are uncertain
There is a considerable uncertainty among the businesses, because in the last year’s K&H SME confidence index is characterized by a continuous fluctuation. After the improvement of the previous quarter, sentiment deteriorated again, so the index is currently standing on minus 35 points.
The pessimism of SMEs can be explained mostly by the fract that the economic policy, the public burdens and the assessment of the competitive situation have further deteriorated. In addition, the assesment of the banks is on nadir, because of the rising tariffs due to increasing public burdens. The respondents expected interest rates on loans to be increased.
