K&H agro technological change is necessary

The persistently low selling prices need to be prepared for the globally good yields and high stocks, so the farmers need to improve efficiency and an agro technological change is needed – Tresó István, head of department of the K&H Agricultural Business Development explained MTI, commenting on the agricultural price developments.

In August, producer prices fell by 2.6 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.The producer price of plant products declined by 5.5 percent, while the producer price of live animals and animal products increased by 2.5 percent – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday.
