Craft beer will be made in the Abbey of Zirc
Craft beer will be made from the middle of the summer in the Abbey of Zirc – reviving this old tradition of the Cistercian order – Dékány Á. Sixtus abbot of the Cistercian Abbey of Zirc informed MTI on Wednesday.
Dékány Á. Sixtus said that the basement in the Abbey of Zirc will offer homemade beer from July. The recipe which was compiled by domestic experts.
Dékány Á. Sixtus told that three types of beer will be produced. Tasting andshopping will be possible locally, but the craft beer will be availabe in stores in Budapest, Pest and Veszprém Counties, near the Lake Balaton region, and in several domestic large cities. (MTI)
