Handmade sake from Kyoto – Video of the day
This slick black-and-white video is not, in fact, a music video for Japan's hottest new obscure band. Rather, it offers “a glimpse into the production process today at Matsumoto Sake Brewing Co. in Kyoto, which has been making sake since 1791,” RocketNews explains. In just four minutes, watch the fermented rice wine being made from start to finish, from opening the brewery doors first thing in the morning to the finished bottle.
