Less holiday vouchers, reduced tourism at Lake Balaton
Employers purchased less holiday vouchers, but a large amount of vouchers from last year are still not yet used.
It is expected that the taxation of the holiday vouchers will result in the drop of traffic, but the fact that, a large amount of vouchers from last year are still not used might improve the situation. Rosta Sándor, the president of the Balaton Regional Tourism Commission (BRIB)
believes that the taxation of the holiday vouchers, will change the length of stays of the guests primarily – reports vallalkozoinegyed.hu.
