Less flyers, shorter actions
According to the report of GfK Hungária Market Research Institute; the number of special magazines, leaflets and the validity of the actions also decreased from January to September this year, compared to the same period of 2008.
The survey shows that half of the buyers are select on the basis of the the regular prices from different brands. Fourty percent of the customers take the price of the product into account.
The flyers of the food trade chains, reach 80 percent of the consumers. However, the number of leaflets issued in the first 9 months of this year, decreased and the period of validity of the actions too. In 2008, it was 17 days in 2009, only 15 days.
