Philip Morris International sold fewer traditional but more heated tobacco products
Philip Morris International sold fewer traditional but more heated tobacco products in the first half of the year, when the company’s net sales were 13.804 billion USD, down 4.5 percent from a year earlier, and net profit was 3.773 billion USD – the company told MTI.
PMI sold 151 billion units of traditional cigarettes in the second quarter of 2020, 17.6 percent less than a year earlier, but sales of 18.7 billion units of heated tobacco products increased by 24.3 percent year-over-year. (MTI)
