Less egg, lower price
Data from the Agricultural Economics Research Institute’s (AKI) market price information system (PÁIR) reveal that in Hungary volume sales of M and L sized eggs dropped 13 percent on weeks 1-12 in 2014 from the same period of 2013; the HUF 20/piece price at the place of packaging was 11 percent lower than in the base period.
