Quality food from a small budget!
At the end of September several teams competed in the final of the 9th National Public Sector Catering Chef Competition (OKÉS). The task was to cook a 3-course menu from a net HUF 350 budget/person. Éva Kókáné Pásztor and Sándorné Sütő from Vattai Tündérkert Kindergarten and Kitchen won the competition. András Simon (Lifestyle Hotel Mátra – Mátraháza) was the runner-up and Norbert Pákozdi and Tamás Szeidl (Gasztvitál Zrt. Pamut kitchen – Budapest) finished third. The children jury’s special award went to Noémi Finta and Mariann Harakály (Finta Event House and Restaurant – Érd).
