One-third of this year's cherry harvest was destroyed by frost
It is estimated that about 30 percent less sour cherry will grow this year due to the spring frost damage.
Because of the frost damages in April, the purchase prices are likely to increase, the producers and the processors should establish a single price agreement – the Hungarian Horticultural Propagation Office (MKSZ) told MTI on Tuesday.
