The Lipóti Bakery has opened its two hundredth store near the Astoria in Budapest. The company last year reported a revenue of 3.6 billion HUF with a 16.5 percent growth. The company expects an 8 percent growth next year and plans foreign expansion as well.
” Lipóti Bakery’s result is 200 bakeries, 7 plants, and 31 tons of bread per day” – Tóth Péter József, the owner of the network’s operator, the Proteus Gold Kft. told. He added that in recent years, the network grew rapidly. In 2006, the expansion was started with three specialist shops, four years ago 120 units awaited the customers, last summer the number of shops was 180, and now they handed over the 200th unit.
