IKEA's catalog released in two hundred million copies
The distribution of IKEA's 2012 catalog began in Hungary on the 15th of August in 1.2 million copies. The catalog released in 42 countries, on 30 languages, and in 208 million copies.
Some believe, that the annual catalog of the world's largest retailer of home furnishing is one of the most important symbol of the global consumer culture and can be considered as the start of the autumn shopping period. The first IKEA catalog was published in 1951 – reports penzcentrum.hu.
