The power plant in Pécs plans to buy two hundred thousand tons of agricultural by-products this year
The Pannonpower that is the operator of the power plant in Pécs plans the acquisition of two hundred thousand tons of agricultural by-products this year – the company belonnging to the Veolia Energia Magyarország group told MTI on Tuesday.
According to their communication, the Pannonpower obtains the required by-products for its biomass-fired power plant from the farmers of the region. The farmers can earn 3.5-4 billion HUF additional sources from this business. (MTI)
