KSH measured double-digit earnings growth
In November last year gross and net earnings were 10.4 percent higher than a year before, gross average earnings were 355,100 forints – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Tuesday. This has led to a two-digit rise in earnings for 23 months.
Calculated with the 3.1 percent inflation in November, real earnings increased by 7.1 percent in one year.
Growth was influenced by the increase in labor demand, the increase in the minimum wage and the guaranteed minimum wage by 8 percent and 12 percent, in some areas of the budget sector, and in certain government public service companies – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) revealed. (MTI)
