Praktiker achieved double-digit revenue growth last year
Praktiker achieved net sales of 57.1 billion HUF in 2018, about 20 percent more than in the previous year. The after-tax profit exceeded 3 billion HUF in the previous year – Karl-Heinz Keth, managing director of the DIY chain said at the company’s press conference in Budapest on Thursday.
This year, the company plans a 15 percent increase in traffic, which they see feasible based on the data of the first months of this year – he added.
The CEO pointed out that online sales accounted for 7 percent of last year’s total sales, a two-digit increase over 2017, and are expected that web traffic will boost further. (MTI)
