Lidl supports sheltered pets with 2 million HUF
The 6th Telitálka campaign of Lidl Hungary ended with great success, as a result of which the support of the store chain supports the residents of the Rex Dog Home Foundation with a total of 2 million HUF worth of high-quality pet food. The donation covers a month and a half of care for 250 pets, which the company has already given to the foundation. The questionnaire on responsible animal husbandry, which is part of the campaign, also revealed that 97 percent of farmers would never, under any circumstances, get rid of their pet.
As part of Hungary’s responsibility program, in addition to supporting disadvantaged children and their families, Lidl has been prioritizing the support of animals with hard life for 5 years now. During this year’s campaign, the company invited its customers and social media followers to a virtual, Animal Good Festival instead of summer festivals, who could upload the funniest photos of their little favorites to a microsite created for that purpose.
