Raw milk’s price up by two-thirds in a year

In addition to the improvement in the protein content by 0.03 percentage points and stagnation in the fat content, and a 5% increase in the base price, the average price of raw milk increased by 6% in August 2022 compared to the previous month, and exceeded the average price recorded in August 2021 by 57%.

The export price of raw milk reached HUF 210.13 per kilogram that is 6% higher than that in the previous month and 83% higher than in August 2021.
