The Tarpai Manufaktúra Kft. processes two thousand tons of plum

The Tarpai Manufaktúra Kft. has started to purchase plum. The company will process two thousand tons of fruit this year, and will prepare the famous plum jam and plum pálinka of Szatmár – the company's managing director told MTI on Wednesday.

Váradi György told that they will purchase the Nemtudom and Besztercei Blue plum varieties in the area, where plum trees had a good crop.
The small company has expanded the number of its employees for the autumn season. Now eleven people are working at the jam factory and distillery. (MTI)
