COOP wins MagyarBrands award in two categories
The COOP retail chain won an award in both the consumer brands and in the business category at the MagyarBrands award ceremony, held on 17 April in the Budapest Operetta Theatre. In the business category COOP Rally was rewarded, a 7-year-old programme for representatives of the trade to raise awareness of domestic food production. More than 80 percent of the products sold in COOP stores are made in Hungary. dr János Serényi, the president of the MagyarBrands programme told that with the two awards COOP finished the first among the best. He added that the retail chain is committed to improving the quality of retail in Hungary.
