German business sentiment on a two-year low
In December, the German sentiment index of the Munich-based ifo Institute for Economic Research declined to a much lower than expected level, to the lowest of the past two years.
In December, the business sentiment index of the ifo in Germany dropped to 101.0 points from 102.0 points in the previous month instead of the expected 101.8 points. The indicator is already falling for the fourth month and its December the value stood at a two-year low. (MTI)
