Tesco Launches Ready Meal Line With Beyond Meat
Tesco has partnered with global plant-based food producer Beyond Meat on a new line of ready meals for the retailer’s Wicked Kitchen range.
The line will include meat-free chilli, burritos, biryani, and Korean bowls all made with Beyond Meat.
The UK retailer currently stocks a number of Beyond Meat products in stores, but this collaboration marks the first time Beyond Meat has created a product with another UK food manufacturer.
The collaboration is part of a pledge made by Tesco to increase the number of plant-based meat-free alternatives available in stores by 300% by 2025 to meet both customer demand and environmental concerns.
