ifo has reduced its forecast for GDP growth for 2022
The ifo economic research institute indicates a delay in the dynamics of economic growth in Germany due to the supplier difficulties facing the manufacturing industry and the onset of the fourth wave of pandemic. Compared with its previous autumn forecast, it has reduced its forecast for GDP growth in 2022 by 1.4 percentage points, while increasing its growth expectations for 2023 by 1.4 percentage points.
