Trade Alliance: trade climbed out of the pit in the summer
After the decline in the spring, the trade “climbed out of the pit” and reached the level of the same period of last year during the summer – Vámos György , Secretary General of the National Trade Association told Kossuth Radio on Tuesday morning.
The Secretary-General recalled that retail sales fell by 10 percent in April, at the start of epidemiological restrictions, and by only 3 percent in May.
He stressed that it mattered a lot in terms of trade that the family support system had not changed and the credit moratorium had significantly eased the situation for families. (MTI)
