Trade Alliance: the turnover of Internet commerce may grow by 20 percent this year
It is expected that Internet commerce in Hungary may increase by 20 percent this year through, its total turnover could reach 370 billion forints by the end of the year – Vámos György, secretary general of the National Trade Association told M1 news channel on Saturday.
He reported that food sales have been growing steadily lately, and 10 percent of food purchases in England are being handled via web stores.
He stressed that e-commerce is a special business, so the merchant must be informed in advance of everything, and the product purchased on the Internet can be sent back without reason within 14 days. He added that the merchants are always responsible for the goods they sold, so must also deal with problems with the supplier or the dealership. (MTI)
