Competition to select the Pálinka of Békés County

Békés County ‘s local government is looking for the pálinka of the county again this year. The announcement of results will be at the 17th Gyulai Pálinka Festival – Zalai Mihály president said at a press conference in Békéscsaba on Friday.

He explained: four out of the six county distilleries have already registered for the race with 13 samples ; the application deadline expires on Friday night.

In 2015, the sour cherry pálinka of the Sarkad-based Éden-tó Szeszfőzde Bt. bear the Pálinka of Békés County title. (MTI)
