We do need good wine!
The data collection phase of the Great Wine Test ended after the present issue of our magazine went to press, but we already know that until the end of June 30,000 people filled out the online questionnaire. Hungarians drink wine several times a week (40 percent of the visitors of wine websites).
Wine website visitors spend more than HUF 1,000 on a bottle purchased for drinking wine at home. According to Krisztián Kathona, the director of Borháló, the recent changes in wine consumption habits are just as important as the conquest of reductive-technology wines in the early 2000s or spritzer becoming popular again around 2010.
