Eastern Europe is the safest market for German exports
Amid the global economic recession caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Eastern Europe proved to be a stable support for the German export economy, according to a report by Ost-Ausschuss, a representative organization of German companies operating in Eastern Europe – vg.hu wrote.
The exports of German companies to Eastern Europe increased by 1.7 percent year-over-year to 58 billion euros in the first quarter, while total German exports decresed by 3.3 percent year-on-year in January-March. (vg.hu)
