Barbie doll sales jumped
Sales of Mattel’s Barbie doll reached a five-year high last year, reaching 1.35 billion USD globally – origo wrote.

One clear component of the success was the social constraints caused by the pandemic as parents began to accumulate toys to entertain the children who remained at home. Although the surge in demand at the beginning of the year weighed on supply chains, traders were ultimately able to meet the extreme demand for the products. (origo)
