Beer prices in Budapest are favorable
Significant differences can be observed in the prices of draft beers between major European cities. Oslo follows the Icelandic capital with 9.6 euros and Copenhagen with 8 euros. Other big cities such as Paris, London and Helsinki also have prices above 7 euros, which is significantly higher than the price level in the Hungarian capital.
The average price of draft beer in Budapest is only 2.5 euros, which is similar to the price level of Bratislava and Tirana. These data place Budapest at the upper limit of cheap cities in European comparison.
The cheapest options for drinking beer can be found in Kiev and Minsk, where the average price of a draft beer is only 1.1 and 1.2 euros, respectively. This shows that there are significant differences in entertainment costs in the region, and Budapest can be an attractive destination for budget-conscious travelers in this regard as well.
Our capital thus stands out in the heart of Europe not only with its cultural and historical attractions, but also with its favorable price level, offering a pleasant recreation opportunity to all those who appreciate good beer.
