Business tourism dynamically grows in Kecskemét
The number of nights spent by foreigners increased significantly in Kecskemét between 2008 and 2012, thanks to business tourism – Szemereyné Pataki Klaudia (Fidesz), deputy mayor of Kecskemét told MTI.
According to the datas of the Hungarian National Tourist Office (MT Zrt.), between 2008 and 2012, the number of nights spent by foreign tourists increased from 36 thousand to 76 thousand in Kecskemet, while the average length of stays reached 3 nights. The deputy mayor highlighted year 2011, when the number of nights spent by foreigners increased by 150 percent, compared to the previous year. (MTI)
