Women should have a “free and informed choice” about how they want to manage their menstrual cycles. The aim of the measure is to end menstrual poverty, which according to surveys affects one in ten women in Spain, and to promote sustainability, as around nine thousand tons of disposable feminine hygiene products are generated annually in the region of my car.
