Tesco tests checkout-free shopping
Tesco has invested in Trigo Vision a checkout-free start-up company, to test cashierless technology at its Tesco Express store. Trigo Vision’s technology will make it possible for Tesco app users to walk into the store, select items they wish to buy and leave without paying at a checkout. Payment for the products will be processed automatically via the app.
