The MOSZ urges compensation for the cucumber producers

The National Federation of Agricultural Cooperators and Producers (MOSZ) suggest the Ministry of Rural Development (VM) to provide withdrawal support to the cucumber producers who were hit by the situation of the German diarrhea epidemic – announced MOSZ on Friday.

The advocacy organization recommends again the introduction of the “original Hungarian food” denomination in order to strenghten consumer confidence. The denomination would be a clear guarantee to the origin of the domestic product. According to the position of MOSZ; the indication of the origin is not enough, the grown location of the product should be also indicated – reports MTI.
