”Catch it” flashmob at St. Stephen’s Basilica
The Agrármarketing Centrum and the Ministry of Agriculture popularized the fish consumption with fishy delicacies and with a real curiosity, the flashmob of the Kodály Zoltán Art School at the Budapest Advent Market.
Most fish are consumed in Hungary during the Christmas season, but the ministry seeks to increase the consumption of fish in the rest of the year. The aim of the campaign is to promote the consumption of fish in the framework of the Hungarian Fisheries Operational Program (MAHOP) under the co-financing of the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund and Hungary. The goal is to increase fish consumption from the current 6 kg per capita by at lest 20 percent until 2023.
