From the end of June, a new support helps to keep skilled workers in agriculture
The Ministry of Agriculture (AM) has developed a new support scheme for the poultry and pig sector. The applications for support can be submitted to the Hungarian State Treasury from 24 June to 5 July. In the application, the participants of the sector can apply for one-time labor costs of up to 200 thousand forints per employee – AM told MTI on Tuesday.
The total amount of the proposal is 2 billion HUF, which is provided from the Ministry’s own budget.
According to the communication, the support was granted because the ministry wants to help complement the agricultural raw material production activities, such as product processing, marketing and, among other things, feed production, by retaining the skilled workforce. (MTI)
