Retail volume sales kept growing in July
Retail volume sales are estimated to have increased by 2.3 percent in July 2014 in comparison with July 2013. Food and food-type retail sales were up 1.6 percent, non-food sales expanded by 2.7 percent and motor fuel sales rose 3.4 percent. The Central Statistical Office (KSH) calls attention to the fact that the structure of tobacco product retail changed as of 1 July 2013 and the source of data is new: it is the National Tobacco Trade Non-profit Zrt.
