The Open Days Porta event series will begin next Saturday

Almost 30 producers will present their products and activities at 12 locations of the opening event. In addition to the porta tours, they will offer show cooking, experience programs and craft workshops to guests, who can try jam making, cheese making, vegetable and herb processing, among other things, while they can explore the Bereg Circle by bike or paddle the Öreg-Túr.

On September 20-21, the settlements known as the Swabian Corner will be introduced, on September 27-28, the Kisalföld, the Alpokalja and South Zala, and on October 4-5, the region from the Balaton Uplands to the Vasi-hegyhát will follow. The events based on local products and gastronomic offerings will also be joined by the member restaurants of the Stílusos Vidéki Éttermiség (SVÉT), which promote quality food with special offerings and presentations – they wrote. According to the announcement, the initiative to promote agrotourism is a continuation of the micro-regional events of recent years, which this year are being raised to a national-level event series by the Herman Ottó Institute Nonprofit Kft. The organization is supported by the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK), the Hungarian Cycling Tourism Association (MAKETUSZ), the Small Scale Association, and the Pannon Local Product Cluster as cooperating partners, in addition to the SVÉT.
