Waberer’s logistics center in Ecer will be completed by the beginning of next year
The construction of the Waberer’s Group’s giant logistics center in Ecser is progressing as planned, the building has reached its highest point, so it can be completed by the beginning of 2024, the company told MTI on Friday.
The company spends HUF 18 billion on the construction of the 47,000 square meter warehouse complex. Waberer’s, which is listed in the premium category of the Budapest Stock Exchange, will implement the center with a larger part of the 111 million euro bond issued last year, and a smaller part with the investment support received from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
The market-leading logistics service provider will serve its clientele from here. The center is being built using the most modern technical and sustainability solutions next to the M0 ring road, close to the airport. Nearly 200 people work at the construction site.
