Hungarians spend more proportionally on alcohol and food, than the EU average
In the European Union households spend an average of 11.9 percent of their income on food, while an average of 1.5 percent goes on alcohol.
According to the recent research of the European Statistical Office; the Hungarian population spend proportionally more on alcoholic beverages and food, than the citizens of the EU member states.
