Jonagold Apple Festival in Rakamaz
The famous Jonagold Apple Festival will be held for the ninth time in Rakamaz on Sunday. The organizers expect visitors with product presentations and all-day cultural programs.
Zajácz Miklós, town community center director told to MTI on Thursday, that despite the frost in May, that decimated the apple crop this year in Rakamaz, the local farmers can still present 30-40 kinds of fruit at the presentation. From the old varieties of apples to the newests, visitors can taste almost all kind of apples, including the jonagold bred from the once popular jonatan apples – reports MTI.
