The Travel exhibition is coming to the Hungexpo area!
On the first day of the Travel Exhibition, on February 22, Turizmus.com will once again organize a professional conference at the Hungexpo, entitled “In 2024, we will draw 19”. The event welcomes visitors with inspiring performances and interesting programs. Those who register for the professional day can request a ticket entitling them to one-time free entry to the exhibition.
The event takes place in the Hungexpo area between February 22 and 25 and awaits visitors with a number of special programs. One of the featured speakers will be Máriusz Révész, State Secretary responsible for Active Hungary. The State Secretary presents the developments of the Active Hungary Program and the current issues of the spread of the active lifestyle. Active tourism creates important economic opportunities, encourages the development of infrastructure, and prioritizes sustainability and a health-conscious lifestyle. The professional manager of the BalatonBike365 program, László Szilasi, shares additional valuable information about cycling and the cultural and natural attractions of the Balaton region.
International examples will also be presented at the conference. Marie-Louise Schnurpfeil, who will talk about Linz’s tourism development, will share the city’s success story. Linz is a city on the Danube in Austria, which has turned from an industrial center into a successful European tourist destination. The presentation will show how an industrial city has become a new destination, where architectural heritage, modern buildings, culture and nature offer visitors a unique experience.
