Black Friday is coming – GVH is helping Hungarian consumers again this year
The practice is becoming more and more common that customers can find Black Friday discounts and Christmas sales not only at the end of November, but throughout November. The Economic Competition Authority (GVH) is therefore already helping consumers with a campaign to strengthen customer awareness and informative videos on how not to fall for seasonal promotions.
The price reductions available in the pre-Christmas period mean relief and savings for many people. However, of course, consumers only win with sales if they take place within a fair framework, and customers choose carefully from the offer. As in previous years, the national competition authority is helping Hungarian consumers with an informational campaign and mini-videos available on its social media sites, so that they are not disappointed during seasonal sales, and that their purchases are the result of a conscious – preferably environmentally sustainable – decision.
