Henkel was able to mitigate the negative effects of the crisis
In the 2020 financial year the Henkel Group’s sales reached EUR 19.3 billion, which means that organic sales were down a little if compared with the 2019 level. The EBIT margin was 13.4 percent and the operating profit was EUR 2.6 billion. Free cash flow was very strong at more than EUR 2.3 billion. Member of the board of directors Carsten Knobel told: thanks to its balanced portfolio, successful innovations and financial strength, Henkel managed to mitigate the negative effects of the COVID-19 crisis.
