Romania’s retail trade performs well
The volume of retail sales grew by 6.5 percent in the first four months of the year, compared to a year before – according to the Romanian National Statistical Institute.
According to the seasonal and calendar effect adjusted data, the growth was 7.6 percent.
Foods, beverages and tobacco products and sales of non-food products grew by 7.6 percent, while fuel sales rose 2.7 percent. (MTI)
