Red and dessert wines did well in the competition of MTA
The experts of the MTA (Hungarian Academy of Sciences) have chosen the best wines of 2010, from 140 samples – reports szabadfold.hu.
The category winners are:
High-category white wine: Mátraalja wine region, Borpalota Kft., 2008., Fríz Hárslevelű
High-category red wine: Villány, Günzer Zoltán Winery, 2007., Ördögárok
High-category dessert wine: Tokaj wine region, Úri Wine Cellars, 1999th, wine of 6-butt Tokaji Aszú.
Middle category white wines: Scheller Szőlőbirtok, 2006., Balatonfelvidéki Áldozói Zöldveltelini, 2006., and Tokaj-Hegyalja, Chateau Dr. Kovács Grand Cru winery, 2009. Asszonyfektető
Medium category red wines: Villány-Siklósi Wine Region, Koch társai Szőlőbirtok és Pincészet, 2007., Cabernet Sauvignon
Rosé: Gál Winery, 201., Kunsági Zweigelt Rosé.
