Unilever has a good start to 2007
Consumer goods giant Unilever posted a better than expected 5.7 percent rise in first-quarter according to 2006's 1Q, the total sales risen to 9.53 billion euro.
The company's operating result was 1.3 billion euro, what is
8 % less than last year.
But the 5.7 percent underlying sales rise pales when
compared with growth at rivals, first of all Reckitt Benckiser's 10 percent.
