Brilliant Tesco start in the US
Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market is going down well with shoppers.
Fresh & Easy has now been open for nearly three weeks, with 13 stores trading in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Diego. The company's research showed that 93% of customers either fairly or very satisfied with the overall shopping experience at Fresh & Easy. The product range incorporates around 3,500 SKUs, including major brands in each category. Prices would typically be 10-25% lower than supermarkets, the company claimed. The chain plans to have around 200 stores by the end of February 2009.
