Good start of the year for Kométa 99

n the 1st quarter of 2015 Kométa 99 Zrt.’s net sales reached HUF 7.3 billion – back in the 1st quarter of 2014 the company’s performance was HUF 5.5 billion. The company sold 11,342 tons of products: 8,800 tons of meat and 2,542 tons of meat products. Volume sales were 45 percent higher than in the base period. Export sales also improved, growing by 34 percent to 3,461 tons. Earnings increased HUF 440 million and the profit was HUF 240 million. Marketing director Krisztina Bódi told that the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) and the National Food Chain Safety Office (NÉBIH) contributed to their good performance by fighting the black economy successfully with their inspections.
